As reported by Wired, an all-new three-wheeled bike design concept has been announced. Inspired by and named after the Cheetah, this concept includes a new pedaling mechanism that requires the rider to push both legs down and back up again to propel the bike, not the standard rotation. In fact, this movement may not even be properly called pedaling.
Also, the layout of the bike frame is in reverse, with two wheels in front and one in the back. This design was probably used because the weight distribution of the rider is more towards the front of the bike.
Finally, if you thought traditional three-wheeled bikes were exhilarating, the Cheetah requires the rider to lay on his or her chest rather than sitting.
It's unlikely that the Cheetah will take the biking world by storm any time soon, but for a few brave and adventurous bikers, the ride here could be an amazing experience, that is if this concept design is ever mass produced.
