You already know that exercise makes you feel better, gives you more energy and helps you lose weight. If that weren't enough, how about a new study out of the University of Vermont, which notes that a moderate exercise session will not only boost your mood, but it will will boost your mood for up to 12 hours.
The findings of this new study were presented at the American College of Sports Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Here, the dose of exercise you'll need to improve your mood is merely moderate. No need to run a marathon, but a good afternoon bike ride will do the trick.
