Lance Armstrong, the famed American cyclist, broke his collarbone in Madrid on Sunday during a pile up of competing cyclists. Of course, the big question on everyone's mind is whether or not Armstrong will be back up to speed in time to compete for another title in the Tour de France.
Another concern may comes from Armstrong's corporate sponsors. With the largest name in cycling injured during a relatively minor cycling event, major sponsors Trek and SRAM, will be concerned about the exposure that will be lost if Armstrong does not recover in time to compete in a major cycling event like the Tour de France.
The 96th Tour de France will begin on July 4, 2009.
